    • Use the CitiTM1 Petro-Points Mastercard®1 to earn when you shop.
    • Purchase all your drinks and snacks at a Petro-Canada convenience store and earn more points on almost everything you purchase.
    • Earn both Sears Club Points and Petro-Points on every purchase you make when you use your Petro-Points Card and pay with your Sears Card at Petro-Canada.
    • Earn 20% more Petro-Points when you register your Ontario CAA membership number to your Petro-Points card (available for CAA memberships in Ontario only). Earn 20% more points on all of your Petro-Canada purchases when you swipe your Petro-Points card.
    • Exchange your points. Combine your Petro-Points with Sears Club Points to get the rewards you want, faster!

  • What if I forget to bring my Petro-Points card to the station? Can I still get my points?
    A member can claim Petro-Points within six months of the transaction being completed. For 1 to 3 receipts please fax them to Petro-Points customer service 1-800-837-1228. For three or more receipts please mail them to Petro-Points, PO Box 480, Orangeville, ON, L9W 5G2. In both cases, the member name and Petro-Points card number should be written clearly on the top of each proof of purchase receipt.

  • How do I order a replacement card if my Petro-Points card gets lost or stolen?
    To request a replacement card, please call 1-800-668-0220 or contact Customer Service for assistance.

      The Points Shop™

      1. Do I earn Petro-Points on everything I purchase at The Points Shop?
        You earn 10 Petro-Points per $1 on the total value of your purchase (not including shipping and taxes). If you redeem Petro-Points for all or part of your purchase, you will not earn points on the portion of the purchase paid for with Petro-Points.

      2. How do I redeem Petro-Points for purchases in The Points Shop?
        You can redeem 1,000 Petro-Points for $1 towards any purchase in The Points Shop. You can apply your Petro-Points towards all or part of your purchase, excluding shipping and taxes. You can use any combination of points and credit card payment to purchase items from The Points Shop.

      3. How are bonus points calculated?
        We calculate bonus points on the amount not redeemed. For example, if your first order is a $1,000 product and you redeem $100 worth of points, you will earn:

        • 900 base points
        • 900 first purchase bonus points

        In total, you will earn 1,800 points. Samsung products are the only exception. On Samsung products, you will earn one point for every dollar you spend.

        For example, if your first order is a $1,000 Samsung product and you redeem $100 worth of points, you will earn:

        • 900 base points
        • 900 first purchase bonus points
        • 1,000 Samsung points

        In this scenario, you will earn 2,800 points.

      4. When will I receive my Petro-Points?
        If you ordered your item from The Points Shop, you will receive your Petro-Points within 24 hours of the order being shipped. You will receive an email notifying you that the order has shipped. Your credit card will only be charged when the item is shipped. If you ordered from one of our retail partners, your Petro-Points will be issued within 30 days of making the purchase. All of your Petro-Points will be automatically deposited into your account.

      5. What if I do not receive my Petro-Points?
        If you have received your order and are missing your Petro-Points, please email The Points Shop support centre and include:

        • your name
        • your invoice number
        • the date of your transaction
        • the retailer you made the purchase with (either The Points Shop or one of our retail partners)
        • the amount of the purchase

        We will look into your issue and get back to you within four (4) business hours.

      6. What happens to my Petro-Points if I return an item?
        If you return an item, your Petro-Points will be deducted from your account or if you redeemed some points, they will be deposited back into your account.

        Please Note: if you purchased an item and return it, the Petro-Points will be removed from your account. If you do not have sufficient Petro-Points in your account you will be billed for the
        Petro-Points that could not be deducted at a rate of $3 per thousand Petro-Points. This amount will be deducted from your refund.


      7. If I redeem Petro-Points towards my purchase, when will they be deducted from my account?
        Petro-Points are deducted from your account within one (1) business day of placing your order. If you redeem additional Petro-Points elsewhere prior to the processing of The Points Shop order and you do not have sufficient Petro-Points in your account, your order will be put on hold. We will notify you and you will be required to pay for the difference by credit card, at which point your order
        will be completed.

      8. How can I pay for purchases at The Points Shop?
        The Points Shop accepts all major credit cards — VISA®, MasterCard® and AMEX®.

      9. Can I use my Petro-Canada Personal Credit Card in The Points Shop?
        We’re sorry but the Petro-Canada Personal Credit Card is not an accepted form of payment at The Points Shop.

      10. Who should I contact about any product, service, delivery or shipping questions?

      12. How does the $150 free shipping offer work?
        Add at least $150 worth of eligible items to your shopping cart on The Points Shop site. Complete the order transaction and wait for your items to arrive. It’s that simple.

      13. What items are eligible for free shipping?
        All products on The Points Shop site are eligible, with the exception of Special Delivery items. Shipping charges apply on Special Delivery items, regardless of the total order value. Products that require Special Delivery are clearly marked on The Points Shop site.

      14. To qualify for free shipping, can I count taxes and shipping towards the $150 order total?
        To be eligible for free shipping, the value of your order must be greater than $150 before shipping, taxes and environmental handling fees.

      15. I cancelled part of my order. How does that affect the $150 free shipping offer?
        If the total value of the order is less than $150, after eligible items have been cancelled, shipping will be charged for the remaining items.

      16. Only some of the items I ordered with the $150 free shipping offer have arrived. Why?
        Merchandise will be shipped to you directly from the manufacturer within two weeks of receipt of your order. Since The Points Shop deals with many different suppliers, most merchandise from multiple orders will ship at different times. There is no need to notify The Points Shop of a partial shipment. The balance of your order will follow shortly unless you are notified otherwise. You can check the status of your order by going to "My Account" then "View orders" on The Points Shop website.

        Sears Club Points can be redeemed for Sears Club Rewards Cards. Once you have your rewards cards, you can bring them to Sears and use them toward products in the store. You can reward yourself with merchandise, services or travel, designer fashions, top-of-the-line tools, brand-name appliances, Whole Home furnishings and more. Your choice! Redeem in Sears retail, catalogue and Furniture and Appliances stores.

      2. What can I redeem my Petro-Points for at Petro-Canada?
        Petro-Points can be redeemed instantly at Petro-Canada stations for free gas, car washes, convenience store products and automotive products and services.       3. How many Petro-Points do I need to exchange in order to redeem for a Sears Club reward?
        On August 1, 2010, we changed our exchange rate to help you get the most out of your points.
        Exchange rate as of August 1, 2010: 12,000 Petro-Points = 1,000 Sears Club Points

        Former exchange rate: 20,000 Petro-Points = 1,000 Sears Club Points

        You are automatically enrolled in Sears Club once you have a Sears Credit Card. You can apply for your Sears Credit Card in one of three ways:
        • Visit any Sears location across Canada.
        • Call Sears customer service at 1 (800) 265-3675.
        • Apply for the Sears Credit Card online. Visit Sears.


      7. How do I get information about my Sears Club Points?
        Call the Sears customer service line at 1 (800) 265-3675 or refer to your Sears Credit Card account statement.

      8. If I'm a Sears Club member, do I have to be a Petro-Points member to exchange my Sears Club Points for Petro-Points rewards?
        Yes, you must join Petro-Points first then exchange your Sears Club Points for Petro-Points before you can redeem.

      9. Can I exchange my Petro-Points for Sears Club Points or vice versa at Petro-Canada locations?
        No, you must call to exchange your points. Petro-Points members (who are already Sears Club Members) can exchange their Petro-Points for Sears Club Points simply by calling Petro-Canada's Customer Service line at 1 (800) 668-0220, or exchange points online.

        Sears Club Members (who are already Petro-Points Members) can exchange their Sears Club Points for Petro-Points simply by calling Sears customer service at 1 (800) 265-3675.

      10. Once I've converted my Petro-Points to Sears Club Points, how long will it take for my new Sears Club Points to appear in my account?
        Most requests will be processed within 72 hours. Your new points will appear on your next month's Sears Credit Card billing statement.

        Note: Points will be on your Sears account, however you will not be made aware until your statement is received.

      11. Once I've converted my Sears Club Points to Petro-Points, how long will it take for my new Petro-Points to appear in my account?
        Most requests will be processed within 72 hours. Your new points will appear on your account. View your points total or check your Petro-Canada purchase receipt.
        Note: Petro-Points members do not receive a statement.

      12. Can Petro-Points Members collect Petro-Points on Sears purchases?
        No. But, by joining Sears Club and making purchases on your Sears Card, Petro-Points Members can collect Sears Club Points which can later be converted to Petro-Points.

      13. Can Sears cardholders pay for gas at Petro-Canada with their Sears Credit Card?
        Yes. You can use your Sears Credit Card at all participating Petro-Canada stations. Plus, you can link your Petro-Points membership to your Sears Credit Card so you only need to swipe one card to earn both Petro-Points and Sears Club Points at Petro-Canada.

      14. Can Petro-Points Members or Petro-Canada Personal Credit cardholders use their Petro-Canada Credit Card to pay for services or merchandise at Sears Canada Inc. stores?
        No.
