    1. Do all Preferred Price cards offer bonus litres to Petro-Points members?

      No, only Preferred Price cards with a specific sticker (shown below) offer bonus litres to Petro-Points members.

    2. Who is eligible to receive the bonus litres?

      Petro-Points members who have a My Petro-Canada online account can receive the bonus litres.

    3. How do I receive the bonus litres?

      If the Preferred Price card is active, you can receive bonus litres by registering the card online. You must be enrolled in the Petro-Points program and have an online My Petro-Canada account. Visit Petro-Points.com/bonuslitres and follow the instructions. In order to register your Preferred Price card, you will be required to enter the card number and 3 digit security code, found on the back of the card.

    4. I am a Petro-Points member but I do not have internet access. Can I still receive the bonus litres?

      Yes. You may contact customer service at 1 (800) 668-0220 for assistance.

    5. How many bonus litres will I receive?

      The amount of bonus litres offered to Petro-Points members varies with different Preferred Price cards distributed through various programs. The number of bonus litres offered may be communicated on materials that are distributed with the Preferred Price card. Once you complete the registration, a confirmation message will tell you how many bonus litres you’ve received.

    6. Can I receive bonus litres on multiple Preferred Price cards?

      Yes, if you have multiple Preferred Price cards that offer bonus litres you can register each active card online and receive the associated number of bonus litres for each active card.

    7. When do the bonus litres expire?

      The bonus litres expire on the same date that the Preferred Price card expires. This date can be found on the back of the card.

    8. Once I receive a Preferred Price card, how much time do I have to register the card and receive the bonus litres?

      As long as the Preferred Price card is active, you can register the card and receive the bonus litres. Once a card has expired or is no longer active, you will not be able to register the card and receive the bonus litres.

    9. Once I register my Preferred Price card online, is the card balance protected?

      Yes, your Preferred Price card will be balance protected once it is registered. If you lose your card or it is stolen or damaged, the outstanding balance on the card is protected from the moment you inform Petro-Canada that you need a replacement card.

    10. Where can I find the balance remaining on my Preferred Price card?

      You can determine what the remaining balance on your card is by:

      • Checking your sales receipt. Your balance, in litres remaining eligible for savings, automatically adjusts with every transaction.
      • Checking the Pay at the Pump screen for the available purchase balance prior to dispensing fuel.
      • Logging in to your My Petro-Canada™ account or registering for My Petro-Canada to check your balance in litres.
      • Calling our customer service network at 1 (800) 668-0220. The value remaining on the card, at any given time, is based on Petro-Canada's records.
    ††Petro-Canada is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged cards. Petro-Canada will exercise reasonable effort to ensure cards reported as lost or stolen are cancelled as soon as possible after receipt of the request. Replacement card requests are managed during Petro-Canada's customer service network's normal hours of operation which are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. eastern time Monday to Friday, excluding holidays. Petro-Canada will issue a new card containing the balance outstanding at the time Petro-Canada receives the request to replace the card.
